Blog #13 Project Reflection

When we first discussed this prooject, I honetly was not vewry optomistic about it. I thought it would be a waste of time and I was disappointed that it was the only thing we'd be doing for the rest of the year, especially because I liked the small assignments we had been doing. Now, I feel that it was good to do, however it is quite a large project to do in a half year course. The most helpful part of planning was to plan out the stages of the script, like the climax, resolution, etc. It helped to put the plot into sections so that the whole story didn't come out in 10 pages. The least helpful was setting up a dialogue before we started, like blogs 11 and 10. It was hard to start the talking when the plot was still shaky. I learned that I am too used to racking things off last minute. I didn't use my time wisely and for that, I didn't feel that my script was complete. My final script is 20 pages, however I feel that my work is the best work I could. I have never written 20 pages of anything before, and for that I am proud of myself.

  • What did you learn about yourself by taking on such a large project?
  • How many pages is your final script? How did you handle time-management for this project? In what ways did you handle your time well? In what ways did you not handle your time well?
  • What are the strengths of your script? What parts of the script make you the most proud?
  • What are the weaknesses of your script? What are the parts the you know need more time and improvement?
  • If we had more time in the course and to spend on this project, what would you work on and how would you focus your time?
